The UA-25 is the ideal audio interface for stereo recording of any kind and it works with almost any PC or Mac audio application available! Any of your customers that bear a laptop will be craving this compact, USB powered audio interface, with built-in preamps and on-board limiter.

Check out the back panel on the UA-25. The MIDI ports as well as the digital ins and outs are on the back so your cables can hide out of sight. 1. Live Recording 
The UA-25 offers incredible audio quality through two premium microphone preamps, phantom power, and even includes a built-in limiter!

The limiter is the most differentiating feature of the UA-25, as it allows the user a bit of freedom in setting up the recording because it reduces the chance of clipping the audio signal. The limiter is part of the analog components of the UA-25, so one still gets a maximum signal into the A/D converter, offering the best possible recording going to a computer. When the first take is the only take, your customer better have a UA-25.

2. Multi-Track Recording
The UA-25 is a great companion for the studio with programs such as Cakewalk SONAR, HomeStudio, Music Creator, Steinberg Cubase SX, SL, and SE. The UA-25 offers low-latency audio drivers and superb audio quality supporting the vast majority of audio applications available for the PC.

The UA-25 also includes direct monitoring which allows your customer to hear what they're recording in real-time while listening to audio playing back from their recording application. This allows them to record completely synced with their previously recorded audio tracks.

3. Recording Audio Streams from the Internet
When the UA-25's "Digital In" switch is set to ON and no digital input is connected, the UA-25 performs a "LoopBack Mode" that allows the recording of streaming audio directly into an audio application where the audio signal that is output from a computer via USB will pass through the UA-25 and return to the computer. Without the UA-25, a person would be required to connect a cable from the output of a soundcard back to the input of the soundcard and hope they didn’t just create a feedback loop! Not only is there the feedback consideration, but this conversion of analog and then back to digital has the potential of picking up extraneous noise along the way. With the UA-25, there's no cabling hassle and the audio signal stays pristine!
