Polar pattern: hypercardioid Similar to the CK 91, the CK 93 provides additional attenuation of 90 degree off-axis sounds. Requires SE300B output module. In addition to a higher ratio of direct to ambient sound, it also offers a virtually ruler-flat frequency response. Includes foam windscreen. |

quality recording microphone. Its almost ruler-flat response provides a crystal-clear, "up-front" sound. A switchable bass rolloff filter for eliminating proximity effect and a switchable 10-dB preattenuation pad let you adjust the microphone's response to all recording or live miking situations. A built-in pop screen reduces unwanted noise that may be caused by explosive sounds if you use the microphone extremely close-in. Rugged construction, an elegantly styled die-cast metal housing, and silver-gray finish add to the professional level quality of the C2000 B. Included with the microphone is an H100 Shock mount and hardshell case. |

true 1", large diaphragm, premium microphones. The capsule has been carefully tuned to preserve the integrity of the source while offering mild compliments in the high frequencies. The optimized transformerless output stage insures the accuracy of low frequency and a nearly non-existent self-noise, resulting in unbelievable dynamic range of more than 135 dB. Open, clear and natural highs coupled with smooth, accurate lows make the C 4000 B an exemplary choice when employed on vocals and on a varying array of string instruments, brass and woodwinds. With all the on-board options the C 4000 B has the versatility to take on many tasks in commercial, project and personal studios as well as on a stage and in the broadcast studio. A switchable 10 dB internal pad may be used for the distortion-free transmission of extremely high sound pressure levels in front of the microphone of up to 155 dB SPL. A 12 dB per octave low frequency cut has also been integrated into the microphone for added protection from unwanted low frequencies or "rumble". Included are the H 100 spider suspension mount which isolates the microphone from the lightest of structural born noises, and the W 4000 windscreen for use in windy environments or up-close broadcast use. |

The microphone’s 5 pickup patterns are easily selectable via an electronic switch with LED indication and offer the selection of omnidirectional, cardioid, wide cardioid, hypercardioid and figure-eight patterns. The pickup pattern selector switch utilizes a dual-color LED indicator that provides visual indication of the pattern selected and also changes from green red to indicate if the microphone’s output electronics are being overloaded. The pattern selector can also be used to “lock” the microphone’s switch settings by pressing and holding it for 3 seconds. On the rear of the microphone, an electronic switch allows the selection of -6 dB, -12 dB and -18 dB pre-attenuation levels which are accomplished by changing the polarization voltage to the capsule. The C 414 B/XLS has switchable bass cut filers of 12 dB-per-octave at 40 Hz and 80 Hz, and a 6-dB-per-octave filter at 160 Hz for control of proximity effect. On-axis sensitivity for all patterns is 23 mV/Pa and its self-noise is an extremely low 6 dB-A. The C 414 B/XLS has a transformerless output and all-metal chassis, making it immune to electrical interference and RF from digital equipment, video monitors and wireless systems. It comes complete in an all-metal road case with the AKG H-85 shock mount, a PF80 external two-stage pop filter, a W414X external windscreen an individually-measured chart showing the response curve of the microphone. It is also available in factory-matched stereo pairs packaged with a H50 stereo bar instead of the external pop filter. The C 414B/XLS is built in Vienna, Austria and comes with a three-year limited parts and labor warranty. |
