C1000S
Famous for its flexibility, the affordable AKG C1000S condenser    microphone is ready for any live taping event. Sometimes you have phantom power, sometimes you don't. Sometimes you need a cardioid pattern, other times greater directivity can help you minimize leakage or control feedback. Of course, you always need high sensitivity, high SPL     handling with low distortion, and extended frequency response.

C 480 B Body

w/ CK 61-ULS capsule

The AKG C 480 B system combines unparalleled performance with exceptional flexibility. Patented electronic circuitry coupled to a transformerless output stage assures completely linear transfer characteristics across the entire audio bandwidth, while achieving self-noise figures close to the theoretical minimum. This, in combination with a typical SPL handling capability of 140 dB broadband means a dynamic range exceeding 125 dB, making the system suitable for the most     critical digital recording applications. Gold plated switch and connector contacts guarantee consistent performance.

A Taper favorite!

CK69-ULS
Optimized for use with the C 480 B. Two shotgun capsules in one, with quick and easy conversion from long to short shotgun    applications without compromising sonic integrity. In its long shotgun configuration, the CK 69-ULS will deliver perfect results for outdoor applications - getting sounds in sync with picture - or indoor  front of stage recording/reinforcement from approximately 6 to 8 m (20 to 24 ft.). Unscrew the front half of the interference tube and the same capsule becomes a short shotgun for use in TV, film and video close-up work.                      Additionally, the short shotgun mode resolves the problems associated with performing interviews in noisy environments. The CK 69-ULS operates flawlessly in high humidity environments, and windscreens are provided for both long and short configurations.
Convenient, quiver-type carrying case accommodates capsules,  powering module, and windscreens. Includes original frequency    response curves. Matte black finish.

C568B
 Short Shotgun
High directivity and wide frequency response in a relatively short integrated unit make this an ideal microphone for theater, sound reinforcement, and film/video recording. The C 568 EB is an electret condenser design which operates on both pressure gradient and interference principles. Below 500 Hz it functions as a hypercardioid microphone; above 500 Hz the acoustic interference tube introduces increasing directivity. A switch selectable 12 dB/octave 150 Hz roll-off filter effectively suppresses rumble and wind noise. Robust, all-metal housing contains the built-in preamp/ impedance converter. Phantom powering (952 V) required; foam windscreen and stand adapter included.

C4000B
The C 4000 B represents the latest in AKG's long heritage of
true 1", large diaphragm, premium microphones. The capsule has been carefully tuned to preserve the integrity of the source  while offering mild compliments in the high frequencies. The
optimized transformerless output stage insures the accuracy of
low frequency and a nearly non-existent self-noise, resulting in
unbelievable dynamic range of more than 135 dB. Open,  clear and natural highs coupled with smooth, accurate lows make the C 4000 B an exemplary choice when employed on
vocals and on a varying array of string instruments, brass and
woodwinds. With all the on-board options the C 4000 B has the versatility to take on many tasks in commercial, project and  personal studios as well as on a stage and in the broadcast
studio.  A switchable 10 dB internal pad may be used for the distortion-free transmission of extremely high sound pressure  levels in front of the microphone of up to 155 dB SPL. A 12 dB per octave low frequency cut has also been integrated into the microphone for added protection from unwanted low frequencies or "rumble". Included are the H 100 spider suspension mount which isolates the microphone from the
lightest of structural born noises, and the W 4000 windscreen
for use in windy environments or up-close broadcast use.

C414B-XLS
The C 414 B/XLS has been carefully designed to maintain the legendary sonic character of the C 414 family while integrating new features and performance enhancements made possible by new technology. The C 414B/XLS is designed to deliver accurate pickup of all acoustic instruments and voices.

The microphone’s 5 pickup patterns are easily selectable via an electronic switch with LED indication and offer the selection of omnidirectional, cardioid, wide cardioid, hypercardioid and figure-eight patterns.

The pickup pattern selector switch utilizes a dual-color LED indicator that provides visual indication of the pattern selected and also changes from green red to indicate if the microphone’s output electronics are being overloaded. The pattern selector can also be used to “lock” the microphone’s switch settings by pressing and holding it for 3 seconds.

On the rear of the microphone, an electronic switch allows the selection of -6 dB, -12 dB and -18 dB pre-attenuation levels which are accomplished by changing the polarization voltage to the capsule. The C 414 B/XLS has switchable bass cut filers of 12 dB-per-octave at 40 Hz and 80 Hz, and a 6-dB-per-octave filter at 160 Hz for control of proximity effect. On-axis sensitivity for all patterns is 23 mV/Pa and its self-noise is an extremely low 6 dB-A.

The C 414 B/XLS has a transformerless output and all-metal chassis, making it immune to electrical interference and RF from digital equipment, video monitors and wireless systems. It comes complete in an all-metal road case with the AKG H-85 shock mount, a PF80 external two-stage pop filter, a W414X external windscreen an individually-measured chart showing the response curve of the microphone. It is also available in factory-matched stereo pairs packaged with a H50 stereo bar instead of the external pop filter.

The C 414B/XLS is built in Vienna, Austria and comes with a three-year limited parts and labor warranty.
